This book is a well thought out articulation of the philosophies, behaviour patterns, belief systems and customs of the Igbo of South East Nigeria. It examines these using a subtle historical perspective that traced these issues from the prehistoric to modern times and conducts descriptions and discussions of the Igbo culture. Furthermore, some experiences encountered by Ndigbo which slightly changed the Igbo world view are discussed. The book represents the utilization of the sociological imagination to create the Igbo world. It promises to be a Bible to many people and will surely enjoy a wide readership and will attract the interest of students, Sociology and Anthropology teachers, and the general public young and old and even posterity. It can be called a book for all times.
